As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of RPG adventures under my belt, I can confidently say that the announcement of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st is like finding an old friend you thought was lost forever. Having played the original and falling in love with its world, characters, and story, I am thrilled to see it getting a full remake.
Today at the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, it was revealed that “The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st” will be globally released in 2025. This is a complete remake of “The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC”. At present, the game has been announced exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, but it’s expected that other platforms will be revealed soon.

Besides the trailer shown on the Japanese Nintendo account earlier, we’ve also been given several English screenshots courtesy of Nintendo of Europe. Upon scrutiny of these images through Trails in the Database, it seems that the game will follow XSEED’s translation for Trails in the Sky FC. At this point, we are unsure about who will handle the localization, but as more information becomes available in the coming weeks and months, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
