The Last Of Us Season 2 Is Gonna “F**k People Up,” Actor Says

The long-awaited premiere of The Last of Us Season 2 is officially confirmed for April 13! In anticipation, one of the new cast members, Danny Ramirez, has shared some exciting words to build up excitement for the upcoming second season.

Ramirez, the actor portraying Manny, shared with Empire that he recently watched snippets from Season 2 and wants to alert viewers: “This will leave many speechless. It’s absolutely fantastic.

He only spoke about Season 2 in that regard, implying that there might be several significant incidents from The Last of Us: Part II that will likely be depicted in the series. Those familiar with the game or its narrative can anticipate the events to unfold.

Manny, a key figure, is a close companion to Abby (portrayed by Kaitlyn Dever), significantly shaping the narrative’s progression.

In a scheduled release starting from April 13, The Last of Us Season 2 consists of a total of seven episodes. If one new episode comes out every Sunday, the season finale is set for May 25.

In the second season, we find Joel and Ellie five years on from their previous experiences, now entangled in a struggle not only against each other but also a world that has become even more treacherous and erratic compared to what they initially knew.

Apart from Ramirez, Pascal, Ramsey, and Dever, Season 2 introduces Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Rutina Wesley as Maria, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Own, and Jeffrey Wright returning to his role from the game as Isaac. Catherine O’Hara is set to make a surprise appearance in a guest star role.

In the upcoming Season 2, original showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann will be back in charge. Notably, Mazin has hinted that some adjustments the team made compared to the game may stir up strong reactions or controversy among fans, perhaps even causing a fervor of debate.

Regarding the video game series, “The Last of Us Part II Remastered” will be available on PC starting April 3, slightly ahead of Season 2’s premiere. Meanwhile, the developers at Naughty Dog are busy working on two projects: “Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet,” and potentially “The Last of Us 3.” However, a multiplayer game titled “The Last of Us Online” was initially in production, but unfortunately, it has been scrapped.
