He celebrated his 40th birthday with a party at his house. A video showing the preparations he made for his guests—including all the amenities he provided—quickly became popular online.
TikToker’s birthday party leaves viewers nostalgic
Wider uses brightly colored balloons on his mailbox to help guests easily spot the house where the party is being held.
When guests arrive at his house, they’re immediately offered a bowl of cheese to snack on. He also puts coolers filled with beer in different spots around the house, so everyone can easily grab a cold drink without having to wait at the bar.
The TikTok creator described how he typically hosts parties with bartenders making drinks and offering snacks in his home bar area. He keeps his kitchen stocked with plenty of food and, as he put it, ‘adult treats’ – meaning marijuana – for guests waiting for a drink.
The food was selected to be served at room temperature, allowing guests to snack throughout the party. For his 40th birthday, Wider chose a variety of appetizers including beef tenderloin sandwiches with horseradish sauce, vegetables with dill dip, toasted ravioli, shrimp cocktail with a pink sauce, and small pizzas.
Honestly, one of the coolest things was this amazing ‘gentleman’s bar’ he created for people who wanted to smoke. It had everything – cigars, cigarettes, those Zyn pouches, even Big Red gum! And as people were leaving, he had these adorable black-and-white cookies and little petit fours with ’40th’ on them – such a sweet touch!
