“The creators of this series, Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield, are thrilled that people everywhere enjoy the same things we do – cozy sweaters, drinks by the ocean, and a bit of friendly rivalry in a hot tub,” they expressed. “Can’t wait to spend more time with all of you on our next adventure together!

As a passionate movie enthusiast, I recently had the pleasure of watching “The Four Seasons,” a captivating television adaptation of the 1981 film that shares the same name. In this heartwarming ensemble comedy, I found myself laughing alongside Fey, Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Marco Calvani, Steve Carell, and Kerri Kenney-Silver. The show’s synopsis promises a delightful journey, and let me tell you, it delivers just that! If you’re in search of a fresh, hilarious, and star-studded series, “The Four Seasons” is certainly worth your time.

A group of six longtime friends embark on a peaceful weekend retreat, but their tranquility is shattered when they discover one couple among them is on the verge of separation. The trios consist of Kate (Fey) and Jack (Forte), Nick (Carell) and Anne (Kenney-Silver), and Danny (Domingo) and Claude (Calvani). This unexpected news leaves everyone reeling. Throughout the following year, we join the friends on four successive vacations, observing how this sudden change impacts their relationships, bringing old conflicts and fresh tensions to light.

Per Netflix, the show has drawn 24.4 million views in its first two weeks of availability.

Apart from collaborating on the creation of the series, Fey, Fisher, and Wigfield also hold executive producer roles and share showrunner duties. Specifically, Fey serves as executive producer under her production company, Little Stranger Inc. Additionally, David Miner, along with Jeff Richmond and Eric Gurian from Little Stranger, also serve as executive producers. Universal Television, where Fey has an overarching contract, is the studio behind the series.
