Fans have been eagerly awaiting the next Elder Scrolls game, and while it’s still a few years off, The Elder Scrolls Online is getting a huge update! The “Dusk and Dawn” update, releasing in June 2026, will add a ton of new content, making it a great time to start playing.
And there’s more good news: The Elder Scrolls Online is coming to PC Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere on June 2nd. This is a great chance for anyone new to the game to jump in and enjoy all the content in Dusk and Dawn.
Dusk and Dawn Will Be Huge for The Elder Scrolls Online in June
The team behind The Elder Scrolls Online has announced plans for “Season Zero,” starting with the Dawn and Dusk update. This update will bring significant improvements, such as a redesigned werewolf system, adjustments to the game’s difficulty levels, and a special event called Zeal of Zenithar offering players additional rewards.
We have even more exciting news to share! The Elder Scrolls Online will be featured at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7th, where they’ll reveal this month’s content and give players a preview of what’s on the horizon.
I’m super excited because the Elder Scrolls team is doing a livestream from June 18th to 23rd! They’re going to chat with us about what’s coming up in the game, and they’ve promised to show off some of the future seasonal stuff too. It sounds like a really great way to get the inside scoop on everything they’ve got planned.
The Elder Scrolls VI Is Even Further Away Than Most Fans Expected
It’s been over ten years since fans last heard about The Elder Scrolls VI, and unfortunately, a recent leak suggests we’ll be waiting even longer. The game is now expected to release sometime between 2028 and 2029, and there’s a chance it could be delayed further.
Bethesda seems to be focusing on the Fallout series, planning remakes and updated versions of both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. However, recent reports suggest these games won’t be released until sometime in 2027, rather than in 2026 as some had hoped.
It’s a shame Bethesda hasn’t released a new fantasy RPG recently, but it’s a great time to try The Elder Scrolls Online. It’s even free if you already subscribe to Xbox PC Game Pass! The new Dawn and Dusk update looks really promising, and the game offers a lot of fun exploring the world of Tamriel.
