It’s been suggested that the long-whispered Virtuos remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is about to drop soon, with both a reveal and launch scheduled for sometime in April itself. Given that we’re already halfway through April, there’s more clarity now on when the game will be out.
In a recent episode of his daily podcast GameBreaking News on Giant Bomb, journalist Jeff Grubb discussed rumors about the potential remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. He stated that the game might launch in the last week of April, specifically between April 21st and the end of the month. Although a precise release date hasn’t been announced yet, the timeframe for the title has become clearer, suggesting that its release is imminent.
Previous reports suggest that the Oblivion remake will undergo a comprehensive upgrade, using Unreal Engine 5 and offering enhancements such as an overhauled stamina system, updated user interface, improved archery and block mechanisms, among other changes. You can learn more about it here.
