‘The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras’ Cast Ranked From Olympics-Worthy to Merely Excellent

As I delve into the lives of these Big Brother contestants, each one seems to be brimming with unique experiences and challenges that have shaped them into the individuals they are today.

Over the past 39 seasons, “The Challenge” has hosted an array of tough competitors, cunning strategists, and extraordinary gameplay. For Season 40, titled “Battle of the Eras,” MTV brought together 10 contestants from each era – seasons 1 to 10, 10 to 20, 20 to 30, and 20 to 39 – for an epic competition.

During this outstanding season, it seemed fitting to present a ranking of the players. Keep in mind that this list ranks them from most exceptional to… comparatively less exceptional (let’s avoid using ‘worse,’ as even those at the bottom of this season are truly remarkable competitors). Just a quick reminder, a ranking is subjective and various aspects are taken into account, such as the number of challenges each person has participated in versus won, but also strategy, politics, daily competitions, eliminations, overall gameplay, and more.
