Since a couple of months following its release, there has been a remarkable enhancement observed in various aspects of the game Wuthering Waves, including performance, character design, and animations. As a result, the more recent characters they create are far more alluring compared to those initially introduced.
In simpler terms, Roccia is one of the characters introduced, hailing from the Rinascita region, and she is the second character released in this area. She’s a top-tier Havoc unit, armed with Gauntlets, and if you aim to fully utilize her abilities, it’s essential to construct her optimally.
Best Roccia Weapons
Regrettably, Wuthering Waves often faces a significant shortage of good weapons across many characters, with the exception of their signature ones. This applies to Roccia as well. Nevertheless, there are a couple of options available to cater to various requirements:
Tragicomedy | Of course, Roccia’s signature weapon serves her the best as it gives her much-needed Crit Rate, extra ATK, and a massive Heavy Attack DMG boost. |
---|---|
Marcato | Marcato is another great four-star choice for Roccia as it gives her some Energy Regen and Concerto Energy, allowing you to switch much faster. Though you’ll need a lot of Crit Rate from her echoes with this one. |
Stonard | If you buy the battle pass, you can also use this weapon on her to get the Crit Rate. However, the liberation damage bonus is useless as her liberation is considered as a heavy attack. |
Celestial Spiral | This can be another decent weapon to get extra damage on Roccia by providing her with a ton of attack. |
Gauntlets Of Night | Finally, your best three-star choice if you don’t have any of the above weapons is Gauntlets of Night to get another decent ATK boost after using your Intro Skill. |
Roccia Echo Guide
In Wuthering Waves, to establish a character’s resonance, you should initially pick an appropriate set offering optimal benefits, followed by deciding on the main resonance and attributes. The main resonances can utilize their skills alongside the character in combat.
Best Roccia Echo Sets
Midnight Veil | This is the best set you’ll find for Roccia as it gives her increased Havoc DMG while also increasing the Havoc DMG for the resonator that you switch to after triggering her outro. |
---|---|
Moonlit Clouds | If you haven’t unlocked the above set yet, you can also use this one to get some general buffs. This set is also better if you’re using Roccia with a non-Havoc main DPS. |
Best Primary Echoes For Roccia
Echo Name | Set Name | Reason |
---|---|---|
Nightmare: Impermanence Heron | Midnight Veil | Apart from dealing extra damage, this echo also increases Roccia’s Havoc and Heavy Attack DMG, which are both perfect stats for her. |
Impermanence Heron | Moonlit Clouds | This echo can give her some extra energy when it hits the enemies while also providing ATK to the resonator that you switch to. |
Best Echo Stats For Roccia
4-Cost | Crit Rate |
---|---|
3-Cost | Havoc DMG Bonus > Energy Regen |
1-Cost | ATK Percent |
In your strategy, you might prefer to play with a 4-3-3-1-1 formation featuring Roccia. However, if you’re not focusing on Critical Rate as your primary weapon stat, you could also consider giving the 4-4-1-1-1 formation a try.
Regarding her secondary stats, aim for the highest levels of Critical Hit Rate, Bonus for Heavy Attack Damage, Energy Regeneration, and Attack that you can get.
Best Roccia Team Compositions
As a gamer, I’ve found that Wuthering Waves and Roccia can be a bit challenging when it comes to forming effective teams due to their limited roster and niche support abilities. However, there’s one team setup that really works well for her, provided you have the right characters in place. But, if you don’t have all the ideal characters, you might need to make some strategic compromises to make it work effectively.
Team Members | Description |
---|---|
Roccia, Camellya, Shorekeeper | Camellya’s main source of damage is both Havoc and Basic Attack, which are the two attributes buffed by Roccia in her outro skill. This makes for a perfect team with Shorekeeper as the secondary buffer. |
Havoc Rover/Danjin, Roccia, Baizhi |
Both Havoc Rover and Danjin deal Heavy Damage as their main source, which isn’t buffed by Roccia. However, they can still use the Havoc DMG bonus if you don’t have a better support. Baizhi is the F2P-friendly support and sustainer, but you can easily replace her with Verina or Shorekeeper in these teams. |
Roccia Traces Overview And Priority
In the novel Wuthering Waves, several characters have complex backstories that can be challenging to decipher. However, Roccia is an exception to this rule. She stands out as a straightforward character, and here’s her basic profile:
1. Age: 24 years old
2. Occupation: Fisherwoman
3. Personality Traits: Resilient, determined, and compassionate
4. Role in the Story: The heart of the story, she faces challenges head-on while maintaining a strong connection to her community and family.
- Her skill groups enemies up while providing her with 100 Imagination, which is enough for one bar on her Forte. She can also get Imagination from her Intro Skill or charging her Heavy Attack.
- When you trigger your Skill or hit someone with your Heavy Attack, you can enter a special state where you can consistently perform buffed plunge attacks, which consume 100 Imagination each.
- She gains a lot of energy when you perform her Skill or the buffed plunge attacks. Her Ultimate deals damage to surrounding enemies, but mainly, it increases the ATK of all resonators in your party.
It’s best to minimize Roccia’s playing time. To achieve this, utilize her Introduction Skill, Basic Attack, and Skill consecutively. This sequence will max out her Imagination gauge, initiate the special state, and enable you to perform three plunge attacks. Afterward, you can activate her Liberation skill and then switch with her Outro skill.
If you intend to utilize Roccia primarily for her buffs, it won’t be necessary to enhance any of her skills since they all boost damage. Nevertheless, the additional damage could be vital in various endgame scenarios. If your goal is to conquer these challenging modes, then it would be beneficial to prioritize upgrading her Forte Circuit, Skill, Liberation, and Intro Skill respectively.
You can leave her Basic Attack as you won’t use it much anyway.
