People tend to hold firm views when it comes to choosing their favorite fast-food restaurant, as they believe each one offers the tastiest menu items.
Nearly everywhere you go, you’ll find French fries, which often serve as a popular topic for conversation when discussing quick meal options.
As a fast-food enthusiast, I’m blown away by the results of the latest nationwide survey on the best fast-food French fries. The findings are nothing short of astonishing!
In-N-Out has the “best” fast-food fries
As reported by WWLP News, researchers examined more than 40,000 customer reviews from 21 popular fast-food restaurants spread across the United States.
Based on more than 7,500 customer reviews, In-N-Out Burger, located in California, received an impressive average rating of 3.86 out of 5 stars. As per a recent study, the chain’s fries were highly favored by customers on Yelp, earning top marks for their taste and quality.
Since In-N-Out Burger is predominantly found on the West Coast, with only a handful of restaurants in Texas, it could come as a surprise to many enthusiasts of fast-food fries.
As a devoted foodie, I’d rank my top choices in fast food restaurants, with Shake Shack taking the second spot on my list. Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Bojangles, and Chick-fil-A’s exceptional waffle fries complete the top five that I absolutely adore!
Located beneath Raising Cane’s, Zaxby’s, and Arby’s are restaurants that earned their eighth place ranking, surpassing Hardee’s and Checkers/Rally’s, thanks to the popularity of their curly fries.
It’s interesting to note that several large fast food chains in the U.S. ended up near the bottom when ranked against a list of 21 different chains.
Although introducing new fries in 2023, KFC ended up at the bottom of the list, with McDonald’s and Burger King ranking higher, surpassing the fast food chain primarily known for its chicken offerings.
