He additionally admitted that he’d be excited to witness his interpretation of Ken Anakin’s 1965 film, The Battle of Bulge, considering it a perfect fit for Nolan. This movie is a reenactment of one of World War II’s most significant battles, the Battle of the Bulge, where the Allies engaged the Nazis in fierce combat.

Despite the elapsed years since Tarantino’s interview, Nolan has yet to respond to his comments and hasn’t shown any intention towards remaking The Battle of Bulge. Instead, he’s been involved in other projects like the recent Oppenheimer, which earned him two Oscars. He’s also directed several noteworthy films in recent times, but his upcoming project remains undisclosed for now. After the intensive work on Oppenheimer, it seems that the director has taken a well-deserved break. However, we can expect him to return with a new creation soon enough.
In a recent development, Tarantino, who had been working on his newest project, has decided to step away from it. The initial plan was to start filming this fall, but the director has changed course and opted to work on something new instead of salvaging The Movie Critic.
