In the video, the individual performs multiple broad sweeping motions, apparently self-filming without a care in the world, then ascends to the top of the crane and descends onto the building’s rooftop.

At 9:59 AM, Austin police officials acted prudently by vacating the site due to a potential threat. As of now, they’re still searching for the unidentified individual who was seen maneuvering a crane dangerously. Media sources have not disclosed his identity yet.

No arrests have been made, and the situation is still under investigation at the time of writing.

It’s uncertain if the man was capturing footage for an online audience, but he wouldn’t be the first to aim for viral recognition through daring aerial feats. In 2023, the French content creator, Remi Lucidi, aged 30, tragically passed away after falling during a climb up a 721-foot high skyscraper – an activity he had previously mastered on numerous occasions.
