Teton Ridge Entertainment recently obtained “Riding Hurt,” a promising screenplay penned by the up-and-coming talent, Buck Bloomingdale.
This action-packed movie project is characterized as a thrilling heist story that unfolds amidst the pulse-pounding arena of professional bull riding, co-created with Range Media Partners. For now, specific plot points remain confidential. In a competitive bidding war, this western studio emerged victorious to secure the deal, outbidding numerous other potential buyers.
Jillian Share, known for “Pacific Rim” and “Freaky Tales,” along with Jen Gorton of Teton Ridge Entertainment (who has worked on “Den of Thieves 2” and “Arthur the King”), are collaborating with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger to produce a project under Range.
(Brian Kavanaugh-Jones is known for “Longlegs” and “The Monkey,” while Fred Berger has worked on “A Complete Unknown” and “La La Land.”)

Under the leadership of President Jillian Share, Teton Ridge Entertainment creates films and television shows, both scripted and unscripted, that highlight different aspects of the American West. Notably, they have recently acquired the expansive “Lonesome Dove” franchise, and are currently developing several other projects centered around the Wild West.
Teton Ridge Entertainment’s overarching organization, Teton Ridge, holds ownership of The American Rodeo, Arizona Ridge Riders – a highly successful Professional Bull Riders (PBR) team, and The Cowboy Channel, which they recently acquired, making them the leading company in media rights with over 600 sanctioned PRCA rodeos. This company, Teton Ridge, is owned by TWG Global, a multifaceted business conglomerate jointly led by Mark Walter and Thomas Tull.
The entertainment deal for Teton Ridge was handled by Michael Moskowitz. On the other hand, Bloomingdale is being advised by CAA, Range, and Jackoway Austen.
Established in 2020, Range Media Partners is the production company responsible for movies such as “A Complete Unknown,” “The Bikeriders,” and “The Monkey.” Notably, this trilogy has achieved impressive feats, with their combined success being second only to “Longlegs” in Neon’s opening weekend earnings.
