As a long-time fan of horror movies, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and skepticism when it comes to the prospect of ‘Terrifier 4 in Space.’ The idea is so outlandishly fun that it’s hard not to be drawn in, much like Art the Clown himself.
A sensational space-themed poster for ‘Terrifier 4’ has been circulating on social platforms, sparking excitement among fans who are eager to see Art the Clown in an out-of-this-world adventure – but is this wish likely to come true?
1992 marked the beginning of an odd tradition in the horror genre, where a franchise was launched into space for a series of cosmic-themed gorefests, with Critters 4 being the pioneer of this trend.
1996’s Hellraiser: Bloodline features a segment that takes place aboard a futuristic space station, where an engineer employs the Puzzle Box to eliminate Pinhead. In 2004’s Dracula 3000, the movie follows suit with its title, depicting Count Dracula waking up on a spaceship in the year 3000 and preying on the crew members.
Notably, the 2001 film Jason X showcases a group of scientists hailing from ‘Earth II’, as they retrieved the slasher villain’s cryogenically preserved body. Consequently, a series of events unfolded that are hard to forget, especially the infamous sleeping bag kill.
So, ‘Terrifier 4 in Space’ wouldn’t be unprecedented. Unfortunately, it’s not happening.
The creation of the poster is credited to diamonddead, and it’s worth noting that the remarkable tale of the intense, blood-splattered Terrifier movie series is undeniably captivating, regardless of whether you’re a film enthusiast or not.
Given what we’ve discussed, it’s clear there will be more Terrifier films in the future. This leads us to ponder: when might the series venture into space? As it’s Halloween season, I found myself inspired to design a fun Terrifier 4 poster… set in SPACE with weightless blood and gore. Have fun and Happy Halloween!
In essence, while Damien Leone hasn’t shared specifics about Terrifier 4, it seems that the concept of Art venturing into space raises questions if given a moment’s thought.
Following Halloween night and the terrifying events of “Terrifier”, the subsequent films have centered around the character of Sienna Shaw, portrayed by Lauren LaVera. Her tale, however, remains unfinished. At this year’s Fantastic Fest, director Damien Leone hinted that Sienna is yet to locate her cousin Gabbie, who was tragically pulled into a portal leading to hell in the final scenes of “Terrifier 3”.
To put it simply, there’s no logical explanation for Sienna to travel into space at this moment, and if Art were to go, it might mean an entirely different group of individuals in potential danger. For the present, the idea is amusing but not something we should expect to happen soon.
