Five years have passed since that fateful Halloween night, yet it seems our holiday cheer will never be safe again.
The complete trailer for Terrifier 3 has been unveiled, showcasing the comeback of Art the Clown in a festive-themed horror installment. Guided by director Damien Leone, the movie follows Sienna and her brother Jonathan, who are five years on from surviving Art’s Halloween rampage, as the plot unfolds.
As per the official summary, Terrifier 3 finds Sienna and Jonathan attempting to enjoy the festive season and move past their previous traumas. In the opening of “The ‘Misbehaved’ Trailer,” Sienna reflects on her past run-in with Art, whom she believes is somehow still alive. The clip presents a sequence of gripping moments, like an assault in a shower, chaos in a shopping mall, and a unsettling nativity scene. To culminate the excitement, the teaser concludes by hinting at the upcoming confrontation between Sienna and Art.
This story moves from Halloween to Christmas, featuring Art the Clown donning Santa’s suit. Leone informed Empire that the level of violence in this sequel surpasses that of its predecessors. David Howard Thornton, who portrays Art, hinted at a particularly intense and “provocative” scene, stating, “You’ll be taken aback by the depths of depravity we explore in that scene.”
In the lineup for Terrifier 3, we find familiar faces like Lauren LaVera reprising her role as Sienna, Samantha Scaffidi taking on Victoria Heyes once more, Elliot Fullam stepping into Jonathan Shaw’s shoes, and Chris Jericho bringing Adam Burke to life. Joining this crew for the first time are Daniel Roebuck, who will don the Santa Claus suit, and Jason Patric.
On October 8, the novelization of Terrifier 2 will be published alongside the movie. A few days later, on October 11, Terrifier 3 is slated for release. Initially, the film will have a run in theaters before it becomes accessible on various platforms such as Screambox streaming service.
