Terminator 2D: No Fate Takes Players Back To The 1990s With Contra-Style Action

The original Terminator 2 movie was extremely successful and, similar to other R-rated films from the early ’90s, it led to the creation of a series of toys and video games. If you didn’t get a chance to play the original Terminator 2 video game, Reef Entertainment is reviving the T-800, T-1000, Sarah, and John Connor in its retro-style shooting game called Terminator 2D: No Fate.

No Fate” suggests that, unlike what some believe, the future isn’t set in stone; instead, it’s up to us to shape it. This game offers various outcomes, allowing players to influence the world’s destiny. The game features intricate pixel art graphics and gives you the chance to control characters like the T-1000, Sarah, and John, not only in the present but also in the future. You can watch the trailer below for a sneak peek.

Experience the action as Sarah Connor and the T-800, battling through numerous exhilarating missions against the T-1000 in an attempt to halt Skynet’s destructive plans and save mankind from extinction. In this innovative narrative that merges classic moments from ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ with fresh scenarios and multiple conclusions, the destiny of humanity lies in your hands as you lead the Resistance as John Connor in a future where humanity faces the War Against the Machines.

Some enthusiastic gamers may recall the infamously challenging motorbike pursuit scene in the original Terminator 2, which appears to have returned. Other stages involve Sarah attempting to flee from the hospital, as well as a nearly nude T-800 engaging bikers to retrieve his boots, clothes, and motorcycle.

The game will debut on September 5th across multiple platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (available through Steam and the Epic Games Store).
