‘Ted Lasso’ Eyes Season 4 Greenlight With Main Cast Members Returning

As a die-hard “Ted Lasso” fan who has laughed, cried, and cheered through every episode, hearing that the show might be coming back for Season 4 is like finding out my favorite team just signed a legendary player! The news about the cast options being picked up by Warner Bros. Television makes me feel like I’m standing on the brink of a beautiful, sunny day at the AFC Richmond stadium.

“Ted Lasso” is heading towards a Season 4 greenlight, EbMaster has confirmed.

Warner Bros. Television has chosen to keep the option open for the three original cast members, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift. It’s rumored that Jason Sudeikis is playing a role in the upcoming revival, potentially as an executive producer. However, Warner Bros. Television chose not to provide any further details on the matter.

Discussions about a “Ted Lasso” comeback have been circulating ever since the show wrapped up. In January, the CEO of Warner Bros. Television, Channing Dungey, hinted to EbMaster that there might be more episodes following the Season 3 finale.

“Dungey implied that although the finale was aired, there’s a possibility of revisiting the storyline if required. He suggested that the story of ‘Ted Lasso’ isn’t completely concluded yet. If an opportunity arises, we would be eager to produce more episodes. There are ongoing discussions about it, but nothing concrete has been decided as of now.”

Deadline was first to report the “Ted Lasso” news.
