Techland will reveal Dying Light: The Beast release date at Summer Game Fest 2025

On June 6th, we’ll get a closer look at both gameplay from the game “Dying Light: The Beast” and its official release date. This revelation is set to occur during the initial live stream of the Summer Game Fest 2025 event.

  • Dying Light: The Beast is a spin-off of the main Techland game series, where we’ll play as the same character from the first game again. As Kyle Crane – a hybrid of a human and a zombie – we will try to bring justice to the protagonist’s former tormentors. The path of revenge will lead us to Castor Woods, which, before the appearance of the undead, was a paradise for tourists.
  • We will conquer the picturesque scenery both on foot and behind the wheel of vehicles. During this time, we’ll encounter aggressive survivors and various types of zombies on our way. In the confrontation with the latter, we will be able to use the titular Beast hidden in the main character.
  • According to early information, Dying Light: The Beast is set to debut this year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. The Polish studio may reveal their plans for other installments of the series and post-release game development, along with the release date.

At Summer Game Fest, Techland’s game won’t be the sole spotlight. Alongside Techland’s game, Kojima Productions’ upcoming title, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, will also take center stage. According to whispers in the gaming community, we might catch a glimpse of Resident Evil 9 as well, and there are rumors hinting at the debut of Hollow Knight: Silksong.
