Interestingly, Thornton and Elliot have worked together before, gracing our screens in Tombstone as well as 1883. The Academy Award-winning actor is eager to continue this journey with both Sheridan and the gripping series, expressing his hope for a long-term collaboration.

I plan to stay as long as they need me and as long as I can. To put it simply, when I was 35, I didn’t feel the need to assure someone interviewing me about this. However, now, I must admit that there will eventually come a time, hopefully far in the future, where I may have to imitate Peter Boyle’s character from Everybody Loves Raymond and simply sit in a chair and enjoy cake.
