Tatiana Maslany to Star in Comedic Thriller Directed by David Gordon Green; Apple Series Promises ‘Blackmail, Murder and Youth Soccer’

Actress Tatiana Maslany is set to appear in a forthcoming humorous-thriller show titled “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed,” which will be helmed by director David Gordon Green for Apple TV+.

David J. Rosen (“Citadel,” “Sugar,” “Hunters”) has crafted a wickedly humorous series about a recently divorced mother who gets ensnared in a perilous web of blackmail, homicide, and youth soccer. The show is titled “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” and will encompass 10 half-hour episodes.

The show was created and will be overseen by Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon from Genre Films (under their agreement with Apple TV+), as well as Bard Dorros for Anonymous Content. Furthermore, Dave Green, known for his work on “The Righteous Gemstones,” “Mythic Quest,” “Pineapple Express,” and “Nutcrackers,” is also an executive producer.

Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon from Genre Films (Apple TV+’s first-look deal) and Bard Dorros for Anonymous Content are the developers of this series, while Dave Green, whose comedy credits include “The Righteous Gemstones,” “Mythic Quest,” “Pineapple Express” and “Nutcrackers,” also serves as an executive producer.

As a dedicated movie enthusiast, I can’t help but marvel at the exceptional talent of Tatiana Maslany. Known for her Emmy-winning performance in the science fiction series “Orphan Black” from 2013 to 2017, she has now taken on the lead role in the Marvel series “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.” Lately, I’ve noticed her chilling portrayal in Osgood Perkins’ horror production, “The Monkey.

She’s appeared on TV shows like “Heartland,” “The Nativity,” “Being Erica,” and “Perry Mason,” and has been the leading actress in films such as “Diary of the Dead,” “Eastern Promises,” “The Vow,” “Picture Day,” “Cas and Dylan,” “Woman in Gold,” “Stronger,” “Destroyer” and “The Other Half,” for which she received a Canadian Screen Award. In 2018, Maslany made her first appearance on Broadway in Ivo van Hove’s “Network,” starring alongside Bryan Cranston and Tony Goldwyn.

Tatiana Maslany is managed by UTA, The Character Talent Agency, Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush, Kaller, Gellman, Meigs & Fox; UTA also represents Rosen, along with Anonymous Content and Colden McKuin & Frankel. Green is represented by CAA and Cinetic Media.

(In this version, I’ve grouped the agencies that represent each actor together, making it clearer who manages whom.)
