Bandai Namco announced that a remastered version of Tales of Berseria is coming to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). The original Tales of Berseria was first released in Japan for PlayStation 3 and 4 in August 2016, and then in Western markets in January 2017.
The newly released Japanese trailer confirms the remastered game will launch in Japan on February 26, 2026, with the PC version on Steam arriving the following day, February 27th. Considering Bandai Namco’s typical release schedule, we can expect the game to be available worldwide on consoles around February 27th as well.
Today’s announcement confirms series producer Yusuke Tomizawa’s promise from a recent Weekly Famitsu interview. He hinted that another Tales Of game would be remastered soon after Tales of Xillia Remastered, and now that’s happening.
Just so you know, this news also brings Tales of Berseria to Steam players in Japan. The original game is already on Steam worldwide, but it has a restriction that prevents players in Japan (and Venezuela) from accessing it – until now.
