At Microsoft’s gamescom event today, it has been confirmed that Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter will launch on various platforms next February (2025). This sequel comes from United Label, CI Games’ studio known for creating high-ambition, meticulously crafted video games. The game, set in the medieval world of Odd Bug Studio, follows Arlo, son of the Warden of the North, on a grand adventure across a harsh northern landscape to defeat an ancient evil from the frozen wastelands beyond. Platforms for this release include PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
In the wake of the southern war between Rat and Frog in the original game, Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter carries on from where it left off, expanding its base with fresh monster hunting against the colossal creatures of the North. It also refines the highly praised combat system within the franchise by incorporating numerous new gameplay elements. Notably, Doug Cockle, a renowned voice actor who has won multiple awards (The Witcher 3, Baldur’s Gate 3, Alan Wake 2), returns to the series to narrate Arlo’s quest for vengeance once more.
