As a die-hard Taco Bell enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that they’re expanding their sauce offerings! They’ve introduced a delightful Sweet Chipotle BBQ sauce that’s being matched with an array of crispy, succulent chicken dishes from their menu. Can’t wait to try it!
The recently introduced sauce combines sweet and smoky tastes and is included in three offerings: the crunchy Chicken Taco, the crunchy chicken burrito, and the fries coated with a sweet chipotle BBQ sauce. Enthusiasts can also include it in their preferred dish or request it separately for an additional flavor boost.
A chicken taco is made with a single crispy chicken strip as its base, layered with crunchy purple cabbage, fresh lettuce, pico de gallo, melted cheddar cheese, spicy ranch dressing, and a drizzle of sweet chipotle BBQ sauce. The cost is $2.79.
The chicken burrito with a crunchy exterior is constructed using two long strips of fillings and similar garnishes, all enveloped within a soft wheat wrapper. Both versions offer the flexibility for diners to trade the zesty ranch sauce for a more mellow avocado ranch alternative.
Taco Bell’s BBQ Sauce gets its own special fries
Instead of the classic Taco Bell Nacho Fries, here’s a fresh spin: Chipotle BBQ sauce-drenched fries with layers of slow-cooked chicken, nacho cheese, spicy ranch, cheddar shreds, jalapenos, and a new zesty chipotle sauce.
Apart from the main dishes, you can now enhance your meal with our latest sauce. It comes in both forms – topping for any menu item or served in a cup as a side dish. Pair it up with our crispy chicken strips, nacho fries, or other Taco Bell favorites!
This rollout occurs as the business is expanding its crunchy chicken offerings with several novel additions, aiming to establish some of these as permanent fixtures by the year 2026.
