As a long-time fan of Sylvester Stallone, I can’t help but feel ecstatic about the news that he is set to return for at least two more seasons of “Tulsa King” on Paramount+! Growing up, I remember watching Rocky and Rambo, marveling at his charisma and the raw power he brought to each character. To see him transition into a regular television role in a critically acclaimed series like “Tulsa King,” under the talented Taylor Sheridan, is truly a delight for any Stallone enthusiast!

According to reports from EbMaster, Sylvester Stallone is close to finalizing an agreement to appear in at least two more seasons of the Paramount+ series “Tulsa King.

In this TV series about the mafia, Sylvester Stallone, who also serves as an executive producer, takes charge of the cast. His recent agreement opens up possibilities for seasons three and four to be ordered in advance, although it’s important to note that the show has not officially been renewed yet.

Reps for Paramount declined to comment.

According to the official summary, the series centers around New York mafia leader Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), following his release from prison after 25 years and forced exile by his boss to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Suspecting that his mob family may not prioritize his well-being, Dwight gradually assembles a team of unusual individuals to aid him in creating a new criminal network in a place that feels alien to him.

Apart from Sylvester Stallone, the team also comprises Jay Will, Max Casella, Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Garrett Hedlund, Vincent Piazza, Dana Delany, and Annabella Sciorra. Neal McDonough and Frank Grillo were added to the cast in the show’s second season.

Under his extensive contract with Paramount Global, creator Taylor Sheridan, known for “Yellowstone,” brought to life the TV series “Tulsa King.” This is Sylvester Stallone’s initial regular role in television, marking a new chapter in his illustrious career. The series made a strong debut in 2022, and its second season, launched in September, received even more acclaim. As of now, Season 2 boasts a perfect 100% approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

Besides Terence Winter, Sylvester Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Allen Coulter, and Braden Aftergood, Sheridan holds the title of executive producer for this series as well. The production companies responsible for bringing it to life are MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.
