If you missed out on pre-ordering the Nintendo Switch 2, there’s still a chance to satisfy your gaming cravings. In the meantime, here’s some exciting news that might keep you going: According to reports, Sydney Sweeney is set to star in an upcoming movie adaptation of the game “Split Fiction,” directed by Jon M. Chu (the man behind “Wicked”). However, her character hasn’t been revealed yet as the game has two leading female roles. The script is being written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, known for their work on “Deadpool” and “Wolverine.” The film is being produced by Mike Goldberg and Dmitri M. Johnson’s Story Kitchen, the team behind the “Sonic” films. The game revolves around Zoe and Mio, authors from different genres who find themselves trapped in the worlds they’ve created. They must use their unique skills from each genre, science fiction and fantasy, to escape. So, no matter who Sydney Sweeney ends up playing, her role will connect all the characters.
