In April 2025, Nintendo unveiled special editions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom tailored for their upcoming console, the Switch 2. The new feature on the Nintendo Switch app, called Zelda Notes, will assist players in locating notable spots within games and exchanging QR codes of user-generated items (such as those found in Tears of the Kingdom), allowing other gamers to replicate them in their own versions. This tool can help discover hidden Shrines and Korok Seeds and provide directions via voice navigation for easy navigation.
