After spending over a month in Fiji for Survivor 50, I’ve finally resurfaced on social media. It seems like it’s been a blend of official Survivor promotions and heartfelt messages expressing joy to be back, with the exception of Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick’s not-so-subtle gesture towards another original contestant, which was quite noticeable.
Following the unveiling of the cast for Survivor 50, which garnered a range of reactions, Eliza Orlins – a player with multiple appearances, most notably her significant run on Vanuatu and moderate performance in Micronesia – shared something titled “The Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick Files: MAGA, Misinformation, And Deleted Receipts.” She subsequently tweeted about it, encouraging followers to subscribe to her Patreon for access to the investigation into Stephenie’s political influence, encompassing her likes, comments, follows, deleted content, and other related details.
Eliza’s enthusiastic tweet about “documents” was posted towards the end of May, sparking numerous replies, many of which were critical. Unaware of this situation, LaGrossa was in Fiji without internet access and only learned about it upon her return earlier this week. Naturally, she felt compelled to respond, expressing her thoughts across several tweets…
Welcome back Eliza! It’s great to see you again. While I don’t know you well, I must admit that your resourcefulness is quite impressive. I’ve noticed that you always seem to find opportunities to earn money, even if it means stretching the truth a bit.
However, I do hope that you understand the importance of honesty and transparency in our interactions. I believe that everyone makes mistakes, and I encourage you to strive for improvement. After all, we’re all trying to make this world a better place in our own ways.
As a devoted fan, I’ve noticed that Orlins isn’t new to voicing her opinions within the Survivor community. In fact, she’s previously shared thoughts about Cristina from Cook Islands and multiple-time player Sarah Lacina, and even dedicated four separate posts to David from Survivor 48. Her Patreon’s declared purpose is to shed light on the private lives of Survivor players, discussing their actions and political views. While she’s also working on rewatches and commentaries for her season, it seems these have garnered less attention from the broader community.
Currently, Eliza’s behavior aligns perfectly with her character. As a public defender, she frequently discusses social issues and perceived injustices. This is deeply ingrained in who she is, and she isn’t shy about expressing her opinions or addressing conflicts. Her openness resonates with many, as evident by her significant online presence. She boasts over 300,000 followers across various platforms and nearly a thousand Patreon subscribers.

In addition, it’s worth noting that there are numerous individuals within the Survivor community who aren’t overly concerned with revealing others for having different viewpoints. Eliza’s post about Stephenie has garnered a significant number of heated responses from people expressing their indifference towards the political leanings of Survivor players, and many others voicing their belief that Survivor should reflect diverse segments of society, encompassing a variety of political perspectives.
In summary, my perspective on the show aligns with wanting genuine individuals to be cast in Survivor. Instead of focusing solely on hardcore fans, I prefer a mix that includes diverse personalities such as Stephenie, Evvie, Coach, Ozzy, Davie, and Jonathan. I’m interested in observing various ways people play the game, not just one specific style.
In the spring of 2026, you’ll have the chance to watch Stephenie on the airing of “Survivor 50”. This event marks the beginning of a year-long celebration, and the cast boasts a diverse range of personalities, likely representing various political perspectives.
