Bandai Namco is adding more content to Super Robot Wars Y with the new Expansion Pack: Infinite Dimensions, available April 22nd. A significant update (version 1.3.0) is also releasing today.
The new paid expansion adds a lot of content, including 8 new units, 26 missions, a new crew member, and a challenging ‘Master’ difficulty. Players who purchase the expansion will also receive a bonus mission. It features content inspired by series like Space Runaway Ideon, Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack, and IDOLM@STER XENOGLOSSIA. Today also sees the release of a free update (1.3.0) for the core game, which includes new mission packs and a playable preview of the expansion’s first chapter, ‘Contact’.
Super Robot Wars Y is now available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).

“Revol. War” – All 3 Episodes (Free)
All three parts of “Revol. War” are now playable with a free update that came out on Tuesday, April 21st.
This story takes place before the main adventure, giving you a first look and some helpful background information before everything begins.
※It becomes playable after updating to ver. 1.3.0.
※Unlock Condition: Clear CHAPTER 6 “On to a Never-Ending Battle”
“NOAH Brand’s Battles” – All 3 Episodes (Free)
All three episodes of “NOAH Brand’s Battles” are also included in this free update.
This storyline takes place just before Chapter 7, adding more depth to the unfolding narrative.
※It becomes playable after updating to ver. 1.3.0.
※Unlock Condition: Clear CHAPTER 6 “On to a Never-Ending Battle”
Expansion Pack Episode 1: “Contact” (Free Playable Preview)
You can now play the first chapter of the “Contact” Expansion Pack in version 1.3.0, even without owning the full expansion.
※It becomes playable after updating to ver. 1.3.0.
※Unlock Condition: Clear CHAPTER 2 “Aliens Adrift”
After finishing Episode 1 of the Expansion Pack, “Contact,” you won’t automatically receive the new units and pilots. You may need to take additional steps to add them to your team.
After finishing Episode 1 of the Expansion Pack, “Contact,” new pilots encountered in Area Missions won’t automatically be added to the Character Profiles, and their robots won’t be added to the Robot Encyclopedia.
