Super Robot Wars Y Collector’s Edition releases physically in Japan and Asia

Bandai Namco has unveiled a special edition known as the “Collector’s Version” of the game Super Robot Wars Y. This unique edition, along with standard copies of the game, will be available for purchase on both PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The Collector’s Edition comes with additional physical items that highlight the original characters from the game.

The main feature of this package is the Robot Spirits action figure of Lunedrache, which was depicted towards the end of the unveiling trailer as the primary mech for the game’s initial character.

Beyond this, the Collector’s Version comes with six acrylic figures modeled after the original characters. Currently, we have only learned the names of the first three on the left: Cross Tsukinowa, Forte Tsukinowa, and Echika Y. Franburnett. The package will also contain a 76-track soundtrack album, as well as codes to access extra content usually reserved for pre-orders or early purchases. This includes bonuses typically found in the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate editions.

This special, physical edition isn’t exclusive to Japan; it’ll be distributed across Asia as well. We’ve also confirmed that Southeast Asia will receive a version with an English translation of the game. At this point, availability in other regions is uncertain since Bandai Namco Entertainment America’s announcement doesn’t mention the Collector’s Edition for those locations.

After its debut during the March 2025 Nintendo Direct presentation in Japan, Bandai Namco announced that the game Super Robot Wars Y would be released globally in 2025.
