As a long-time Nintendo enthusiast with a soft spot for Lego sets, I can’t help but get excited about the latest announcement from Lego and Nintendo – the Super Mario World: Mario And Yoshi set! Having grown up playing Super Mario World on my SNES, I have fond memories of the iconic 2D pixel art sprites of Mario and Yoshi that are being recreated in this new set.
I’m thrilled to share some exciting news as a fellow gamer! A new Lego Super Mario set is coming our way, and this time it’s inspired by one of my all-time favorite games: Super Mario World on SNES. In this set, I get to recreate the iconic duo of Mario and his loyal companion Yoshi, as we traverse through the 2D pixel art world that made us fall in love with the game. This announcement was made at Comic-Con 2024, and you can preorder it now – the Lego Super Mario World: Mario And Yoshi set will be available starting October 1.
2020 saw the launch of Lego’s Super Mario series, offering a range of sets such as interactive playsets and intricate figures of beloved characters like Bowser and the Pirhana Plant. Some of these releases have been difficult to find, but if you move quickly, you can secure the sought-after Lego NES model at Target and the Lego Mario Question Block display at Stockx. These items are sold out almost everywhere else, so don’t miss your chance to get them!
As a longtime fan of both Nintendo and LEGO, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with fellow enthusiasts! This year, we have more than just Mario and Yoshi’s Lego Super World Adventure to look forward to. Preorders are now open for three new officially licensed sets at the LEGO online store: the Bowser Express Train, King Boo’s Haunted Mansion, and Battle with Roy at Peach’s Castle! These sets are scheduled for release in August 1st.
