Sunday Character Guide

Introduction

Sunday Character Guide

As a seasoned adventurer and scholar of the arcane arts, I’ve encountered many a formidable challenge, but none quite like the enigmatic Sunday. His journey, much like the pages of an ancient tome, is filled with mystery, intrigue, and a touch of humor that only the most resilient can appreciate.

On Sundays, supporting roles and their summoned allies can act instantly. Furthermore, Sunday has the ability to restore a portion of a chosen character’s Energy, boost their damage, critical rate, and critical damage as well.

Skills Overview

Basic Attack – Gleaming Admonition

Sunday Character Guide

Deals Imaginary DMG equal to 50%—110% of Sunday’s ATK to one designated enemy.

Skill – Benison of Paper and Rites

Sunday Character Guide

Grants one specific companion character and their summon to act instantly, and enhances the damage they inflict by 15% to 33%. If the target also has a summon, the damage increase is further amplified by an additional 25% to 55%, persisting for two turns.

After employing The Beatified’s Skill (a state triggered by Ultimate), regains 1 Skill Point.

Ultimate – Ode to Caress and Cicatrix

Sunday Character Guide

Boosts energy by 20% of maximum energy for a selected ally character, making them “The Blessed” along with their summon.

Increase in Critical Damage for the Blessed is between 12% and 33.6%, which is equivalent to 12% – 33.6% of yesterday’s Critical Damage, along with an additional 8% – 12.8%.

Every Sunday, at the beginning of its activation, “The Beatified” duration reduces by one round, with a maximum of three rounds in total. This effect only applies to the most recent target (except for Sunday himself), and if Sunday is defeated, “The Beatified” will automatically end as well.

Talent – The Sorrowing Body

Sunday Character Guide

When using Skill, increases the target’s CRIT Rate by 10%—22%, lasting for 3 turn(s).

Technique – The Glorious Mysteries

Sunday Character Guide

In the heat of the next fight, I’ll find myself grinning as I recall a trick I learned. On the off chance Sunday deploys an extraordinary ability on an ally in the following round, their damage output will skyrocket by a staggering 50%! This boost holds strong for a grand total of two turns.

Ascension 2 – Rest Day’s Longing

If using Ultimate, ensure that the regenerated energy for the target increases to at least 40, if it’s originally lower.

Ascension 4 – Exalted Sweep

When battle starts, Sunday regenerates 25 Energy.

Ascension 6 – Haven in Palm

When using Skill, dispels 1 debuff(s) from the target.

TLDR

You don’t need to worry about the basic abilities as you’ll primarily focus on using Sunday’s Skill and Ultimate (unless you run out of Skill Points). His skill set is straightforward, making him easy to grasp. Essentially, he shares similarities with Bronya but specializes in DPS units that summon allies, like future characters from Amphoreus.

Sunday Character Guide

1) A Grounded Ascent

Following the activation of either Skill or Ultimate ability on a single ally character, the user restores between 6.0 and 8.0 Energy points. Additionally, the target receives one layer of “Hymn” for three turns, with multiple layers stacking up to three times. Each layer of “Hymn” boosts the damage the holder inflicts by 15% to 24%. Every other time the user employs Skill or Ultimate on an ally character, they also gain one Skill Point.

2) But the Battle Isn’t Over

As a devoted fan, I’d enthusiastically share that this amazing gear significantly boosts my Energy Regcharge Rate by 10-18%, and it even grants me a Skill Point whenever I use my Ultimate on an ally. This fabulous effect can be activated once for every two times I unleash my Ultimate. Plus, when I activate my Skill, the subsequent ally to act (excluding myself) dished out 30-50% more damage for a single turn!

Sunday Character Guide

3) Earthly Escapade

This item boosts the critical damage of the user by 32-60%. At the start of a battle, the user acquires “Mask” which lasts for 3 turns. While “Mask” is active, allies’ critical rate and critical damage are increased by 10-14% and 28-56%, respectively. For every skill point the user recovers (exceeding the limit), they gain a stack of “Radiant Flame”. When the user has amassed 4 stacks of “Radiant Flame”, all stacks are removed, and they receive “Mask” which lasts for 4 turns.

Sunday Character Guide

4) Past and Future

When a user activates their ability, the following combat participant, excluding the user themselves, inflicts 16% to 32% more damage for one turn.

Sunday Character Guide

5) Dance! Dance! Dance!

When the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies’ actions are Advanced Forward by 16~24%.

Sunday Character Guide

6) Meshing Cogs

Once the user initiates an attack or gets struck, they also recover between 4 and 8 Energy points. However, this restorative effect can only occur once per turn.

Eidolons

Sunday Character Guide

Best Eidolons: E1, E2 & E6

Eidolon & EffectReview
E1: Millennium’s Quietus ⭐When Sunday uses Skill, the target character can ignore 16% of enemy target’s DEF to deal DMG and their summon can ignore 40% of enemy target’s DEF to deal DMG, lasting for 2 turn(s).A great Eidolon for all summon DPS while also remain useful for any other DPS.
But getting his Lightcone is better than E1.
E0S1 > E1S0
E2: Faith Outstrips Frailty ⭐After the first use of Ultimate, recovers 2 Skill Point(s). The DMG dealt by “The Beatified” increases by 30%.Additional damage from the Main DPS which is always welcomed. A good place to stop if you’re spending to get his Eidolon.
E3: Hermitage of ThornsUltimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
Increase the Talent’s Level.
E4: Sculpture’s PreambleWhen the turn starts, regenerates 8 Energy. It seems decent, but you can already get 100% uptime of this Ultimate with enough ERR and his Light Cone.
E5: Paper Raft in Silver BaySkill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Increase the Talent’s Level.
E6: Dawn of Sidereal Cacophony ⭐The Talent’s CRIT Rate boost effect becomes stackable up to 3 time(s), and the Talent’s duration increases by 1 turn(s). When Sunday uses Ultimate, can also apply the Talent’s CRIT Rate boost effect to the target. When the Talent’s CRIT Rate boost takes effect and the target’s CRIT Rate exceeds 100%, every 1% of excess CRIT Rate increases CRIT DMG by 2%.The effect of the Talent (Crit Rate bonus) can be stacked 3 times, which is equivalent to increasing the value by 3 times. If the Crit Rate of said target overflows, it will also convered to CRIT DMG, not wasting the Crit Rate.
