As a seasoned tactical RPG enthusiast with a soft spot for the unique charm of the Girls’ Frontline universe, I can hardly contain my excitement over the pre-registration launch of Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium! With its stunning 3D graphics and grid-based combat reminiscent of XCOM, this sequel promises to deliver an immersive experience that builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessor.
Developer Sunborn has commenced the pre-registration phase for the English version of their free-to-play tactical RPG, titled Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. This new edition is a follow-up to the original Girls’ Frontline, boasting a 3D graphical style and turn-based combat partially influenced by the XCOM series. The storyline continues from the previous game. As of now, the game is operational in China, but there’s no confirmed launch date for the global version. Players eager to learn when they can access the game are encouraged to visit the official website and register for updates.
For the pre-launch phase of the game “Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium”, there are rewards given out when certain targets are reached during the pre-registration campaign. These prizes include the “Collapse Piece” virtual currency, “Access Permission” tickets for the game’s gacha system, and “Combat Report” items used to boost character levels. The standout reward is the character Cheeta, often referred to as MP7 in the original Girls’ Frontline, who carries an MP7 submachine gun as her main weapon. In the world of Girls’ Frontline, Cheeta holds the title of “Queen of Inventions” at the player’s Private Military Company (PMC), Griffin.
In addition to the pre-registration notification, the site was also enhanced with extra details about the characters and world, such as character profiles for Groza (OTs-14 from GFL), Krolik, Nemesis, Colphne, Vepley, and Cheeta. These profiles include illustrations and animated videos showcasing these characters.
