As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for enigmatic narratives and captivating visuals, I find myself eagerly awaiting the arrival of Stray Children by Onion Games. Having immersed myself in their previous masterpiece Moon, I can only imagine the intrigue and wonder that await me in this new title.
Onion Games recently unveiled “Stray Children” during the August 2024 Nintendo Direct in Japan. The team behind it has also confirmed the official Japanese release date for the upcoming game, which will be accessible on the Nintendo Switch in Japan starting December 26.
Last time I caught sight of this game was during the September 2023 Direct presentation. It’s an exciting new venture by Onion Games, who have previously captivated us with their masterpiece, Moon.
Based on the announcement made solely on the Japanese Direct, there’s no set date yet for the English version, which remains listed as “To Be Determined” on our official website. Onion Games have backed up this news in their Secret Onion Cellar newsletter. They hinted that with the Japanese release date confirmed, the arrival of the English version is moving closer too.
