As a huge fan of strategy games, I have been eagerly awaiting the full release of TerraScape for over a year now. The early access version had already captured my attention with its unique gameplay and stunning visuals, but I was excited to see how it would develop.
The strategy game TerraScape, developed by Bitfall Studio, is now officially available to the public after being in early access for over a year. Although not yet extensively reviewed on Steam, most users who have left feedback have given this title high marks. Nevertheless, there are some critical opinions as well.
- The full version of TerraScape was released on July 17, 2024. As part of the premiere sale, we can buy it on Steam for $10.49 (the standard price is $14.99).
- Valve’s platform users have collectively submitted 669 opinions on the discussed strategy so far, including those from early access. In as many as 88% of them, the game is praised.
- The number of simultaneous players in TerraScape has significantly risen since the debut of version 1.0, which is interesting. Before its premiere, the game attracted attention usually a maximum of several dozen people at the best time of the day. Now, however, there are over 1000 of them (the current “peak” is 1319 players).
I’ve heard great things about this strategy game, but not everyone seems to share the same enthusiasm. Most players praise it for its calming gameplay and stunning graphics. Yet, some of us find that the lack of substantial challenges makes it feel monotonous after a while.
In its initial rollout, this city-building game was exclusively made available for personal computer users. The following is a summary of the current PC specifications needed to run the fully released game, which exhibit slight variations when compared to the earlier access edition.
