This scene hints that she might have gained a new ability: the power of flight. This significant advancement goes beyond her earlier known powers such as telekinesis, mind reading, distant viewing, and resurrection.

Previously, Eleven could only float or levitate when an extraordinarily powerful telekinetic surge took over her, like the time she shut the gate in Season 2. These instances showcased significant mental stress instead of skillful floating. However, the jump shown in the latest trailer seems intentional and appears to defy physical laws without a new power.

In the storyline, a significant development occurs as time progresses. After a fierce clash with Vecna and recuperating at the Nina Project, Eleven experienced a growth in her powers. During their encounter in Season 4, Vecna tragically took Max’s life. However, Eleven tapped into her psychic energy to revive Max, suggesting an early manifestation of resurrection abilities.

In the trailer, we don’t see Eleven soaring through the sky, but her impressive jump might hint at her developing the capacity for actual flight due to her superior telekinetic mastery.
