Cyberbullying is definitely a serious problem, and it clearly had a huge impact on him, making him feel really down and insecure. It was heartbreaking to hear how much it bothered him.
He feared for his life and the safety of those nearby, and he had no idea why anyone would want to harm him.
On March 9, 2026, Sheets wrote on Facebook that their account had been hacked. They stated they were not gay and denied posting anything about an arcade owner, expressing deep distress and claiming someone had harmed their reputation.
Police in Lake Havasu are currently investigating claims of cyberbullying related to this situation, as reported by Variety.
Detectives have sent Darrell Sheets’ phone to the lab for a forensic examination and are waiting for the findings.
