Reality TV star Darrell Sheets has died at the age of 67, authorities have confirmed.
Darren Sheets, famous for his role on the TV show Storage Wars, was found dead at his Lake Havasu City home on the morning of April 22nd.
Around 2:00 a.m., police were called to a home on Chandler Drive where they found a man who appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
I just heard they’ve taken the body to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office while they keep looking into everything. It’s a tough time, and hopefully, they’ll get some answers soon.
Storage Wars fan favorite Darrell Sheets dies aged 67
Police have identified the man who died as Sheets and have informed his family. The investigation is ongoing, and officials will share more details when they can.
Darren Sheets first gained popularity on the A&E show Storage Wars, appearing in 163 episodes. He quickly became a fan favorite and one of the most memorable faces on the series, but eventually decided to leave television.
After leaving the show, Sheets moved to Lake Havasu City and opened an antique store named Havasu Show Me Your Junk.
I was so worried when I heard about John Sheets’ health. Back in March 2019, he had a heart attack and had to go to the hospital. He even needed surgery after that, which was really scary for all of us fans. Thankfully, he seemed to be recovering, and I’m always hoping he’s doing okay.
Besides starring in Storage Wars, Sheets also appeared as a guest on shows hosted by Jay Leno and Rachael Ray.
Police are asking anyone who knows something about this case to get in touch with the Lake Havasu City Police Department.
