The release of Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord’s War Sails DLC, initially planned for June, was delayed to “early fall,” which has now begun. The developers at TaleWorlds have been sharing short previews on YouTube, and recently revealed more details about the DLC – but haven’t announced an official release date yet.
Nords will be a new faction in War Sails, but that armor feels recycled
The developers at TaleWorlds are actively working on updates – they’ve already launched a large 1.3 beta patch to gather feedback before the official release and the *War Sails* expansion. We’re starting to get a good idea of what the most powerful warship will be, and now we have a first look at the archers from the Nord faction.
Tier 5 definitely has a memorable – and maybe a little awkward – name. He’s equipped with both a shield and an axe, but his armor doesn’t feel very new. It seems to be made up of pieces from the existing game, and doesn’t offer much that’s unique for the upcoming DLC’s new faction.
I’m wondering if land units will also use slingshots, or if that weapon will be exclusive to the sailors. The latest news is mostly small updates, and we still don’t have a confirmed release date.
