Steve Buscemi and Daniel Brühl to Attend Croatia’s Slano Film Days

As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be gracing the Slano Film Days this year! This unique event, founded by Miro Purivatra, the former head of Sarajevo Film Festival, is particularly focusing on the incredible world of acting in 2023. The festival takes place from June 17-21 in the picturesque town of Slano, Croatia. During my visit, I’ll be privileged to exchange thoughts and tales with promising filmmakers from our region. I can hardly wait!

Slano plans to showcase Buscemi’s latest movie titled “Psycho Therapy: The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decided to Write About a Serial Killer,” which garnered the Audience Award at the Tribeca Film Festival. Its director, Tolga Karaçelik, is also scheduled to attend the festival. In memory of the late director Wolfgang Becker, Slano will screen the film that catapulted Brühl to international stardom, “Good Bye, Lenin!”.

Slano has chosen to exhibit Buscemi’s recent movie entitled “Psycho Therapy: The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decided to Write About a Serial Killer,” which was awarded the Audience Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival. The director of this film, Tolga Karaçelik, will be joining the festival as well. As a tribute to the late director Wolfgang Becker, Slano will showcase the movie that made Brühl famous worldwide, “Good Bye, Lenin!”.

I’m thrilled to share that I’m part of two exciting new projects! As a cinephile, I can hardly contain my excitement about “Wild Horse Nine,” a film I’m working on under the guidance of director Martin McDonagh. This one is being produced by Searchlight Pictures. Another intriguing project I’ll be involved in is “The Entertainment System Is Down,” directed by Ruben Östlund. In this movie, I’ll be sharing the screen with Kirsten Dunst. Can’t wait to see these films come to life!
