It appears that the company responsible for making Stellar Blades, Shift Up, is currently engaged in a battle against cybercriminals. Their official Twitter account has reportedly been hijacked and is now being used to advertise a fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme.
The game’s director, Hyung-Tae Kim, has been speaking with fans via social media, advising them to abstain from engaging with any content that the page shares.
He made the following statement on his own social media page earlier today:
Since then, he’s provided further details clarifying that the misleading webpage being publicized has no connection whatsoever to Stellar Blade or Shift Up.
In case you’re connected with Stellar Blade through social media or just came across an alleged cryptocurrency page that isn’t officially linked to them, be extremely careful. It’s a scam!
