It’s a great deal for this turn-based RPG, and many Steam players describe it as a solid and very entertaining game, with the game receiving “Mostly Positive” reviews.
Play as a Villainous Dungeon Manager in Legend of Keepers
In Legend of Keepers, you play as a dungeon manager with a unique twist – it blends dungeon building with roguelite elements. Instead of being the hero, you’re the villain, tasked with defeating adventurers to safeguard your company’s resources and climb the corporate ranks. You’ll need to hire monsters, manage your staff, and stock up on traps to succeed. Be prepared for unexpected challenges, like employee strikes and other tricky events, as you play.
So, every time I jump into a new run, it’s going to be different, which is awesome! The cool thing is, I get to keep some of the upgrades I unlocked as my Master between runs. We’re really blending Roguelite action with base-building, and honestly, it took a ton of testing to get the right mix of dungeon crawling and management phases. We wanted to nail that balance!
Okay, so this game lets me build a dungeon, which is awesome! First, I get to scout out a party of adventurers – check out their strengths and weaknesses, what they’re resistant to, all that good stuff. Then comes the fun part: I get to design my dungeon, placing traps and monsters to take them down. Once I’m happy with it, I unleash them and watch the chaos unfold! It’s like a dungeon crawler, but flipped – instead of me going into a dungeon, the heroes are crawling through mine, triggering all my carefully laid traps and battling the monsters I’ve put in place. Basically, I get to watch them fight (and hopefully die!) in my dungeon.

The developers revealed that Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Master drew inspiration from a variety of sources, including movies, the board game HeroQuest, the French TV series Kaamelott, and video games such as Darkest Dungeon, Dungeon Keeper, Slay the Spire, Divinity, For the King, Chroma Squad, Battle Brothers, and West of Loathing.
