StarRupture Playtest Is Coming This Month

If you’re yearning for a dash of sci-fi survival adventure, developer Creepy Jar has announced that their upcoming game StarRupture is going to have a three-day closed playtest. From July 29th to the 31st, enthusiasts will have the chance to test out the single-player aspect of this multiplayer title.

In the game StarRupture, players assume roles of convicts who are exiled to a remote planet named Arcadia-7. Unlike conventional prisons that enclose prisoners within a single structure, the entire planet serves as their confinement. The challenge is to not only endure but also thrive in this hostile environment, with only the strongest surviving.

Enthusiasts are invited to register for the trial version of StarRupture on its Steam platform. When multiplayer mode is live, as many as four individuals can collaborate within this universe. For now, the individual gameplay trial will concentrate on enabling players to construct bases, traverse, and improve their survival and combat abilities. As they progress, characters will unlock additional mods and buildings. Moreover, players will have the freedom to tailor their skills to suit their unique playing styles by customizing their abilities.

As a devoted player, I can’t help but feel that we’re not just fighting for survival or glory; we’re pawns in a larger game orchestrated by the corporate powers ruling over Arcadia-7. They’ve enlisted us all to work in their factories and mine resources, disregarding our wellbeing. The danger we face from the indigenous “bloodthirsty enemies” is a mere inconvenience to them.

StarRupture is expected hit early-access this fall.
