As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that this latest patch for Star Wars Outlaws has left me quite impressed! The developers have truly gone above and beyond to iron out some of the most vexing issues that plagued our beloved game.
In a recent release for Star Wars Outlaws, there’s a new patch now active, and here’s the main point: Stealth missions have been made less aggravating to play. Massive Entertainment, the developers, have put effort into enhancing stealth mechanics to provide players with more options. Additionally, they’ve improved speeder travel in this update, which is another positive change.
Initially, stealth in Outlaws was harsh when it was initially released, but it’s been softened over the past few weeks through adjustments. These modifications aim to decrease the occurrence of immediate failure during certain missions, providing players with additional strategies to finish those stages.
To ensure faster travel is safer for Kay Vess, the developer aims to minimize collisions with environmental objects using this update. Previously, Outlaws players might recall, speeder travel could sometimes cause Kay Vess to unintentionally go into low-orbit flight when her vehicle was jolted off course while traversing seemingly secure routes.
Apart from addressing the known problem in the PC version of the game related to the 24H2 Windows Update, our team is also delving into other potential issues that have surfaced among our PC players. We are putting in significant effort to pinpoint the root cause as well as a suitable solution for these problems. The investigation process has taken longer than expected, which is why we weren’t able to include a fix in this Title Update. Rest assured, once we have a solution ready, we will promptly release it and notify all affected players.
Additionally, gameplay enhancements involve refined NPC actions, more frequent save points in dangerous open environments, and the challenge level in “Wanted” mode will adapt based on your advancement through the game. The detailed list of modifications can be found below, encompassing several technical aspects of the game.
After its debut in August, Star Wars Outlaws has had three significant upgrades. Despite the game being largely popular, it faced criticism for a high number of bugs and early stealth missions that failed instantly. This negatively impacted Ubisoft’s stock price. Furthermore, their upcoming open-world title, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, has been pushed back to February 14, 2025.
