Star Wars Outlaws' Early Instant-Fail Missions Were "A Mistake," Dev Admits

As a long-time gamer with countless hours spent navigating through the vast worlds of Ubisoft titles, I must admit that the struggles faced by newcomers to Star Wars Outlaws have struck a chord with me. The early missions in this game, particularly Mirogana, have been notoriously tough, and it’s refreshing to see Ubisoft Massive acknowledging and addressing these issues.

Ubisoft Massive has acknowledged and plans to rectify issues in the initial stealth missions for Star Wars Outlaws, as they find the challenging instant-fail states at the beginning of the game overly demanding.

In an interview with GamesRadar, Star Wars Outlaws creative director Julian Gerighty acknowledged the issue and mentioned their plans to address it. He specifically referred to one of the early missions in Mirogana, which he considered excessively challenging, stating, “That’s a mistake we’re going to work on rectifying.

Gerighty mentioned that a potential solution, aimed at improving the stealth problems, might be available within approximately 10 days. As for the creative director, they clarify that this fix won’t eradicate the fail state entirely, but rather focus on making it “much more engaging and comprehensible.

Currently, it appears that Ubisoft is experiencing a significant setback with their latest release, Star Wars Outlaws. The stock value of the company has seen a decrease of approximately 12.6% ever since the launch of this open-world game, suggesting that its performance may not have met expectations.
