This day also marked the arrival of numerous other Star Wars-inspired projects, including an exciting new collection for streaming exclusively on Disney+. To my delight, all six episodes of this intriguing series were made available simultaneously on the platform.
This season centered around the characters of Asajj Ventress, a former Jedi who became a bounty hunter, and Cad Bane, a daring outlaw known to many from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It delved into unique, individual tales for each character that had not been shown before.
Where Will the Tales Of… Series Go Next?
Given that two out of the three currently released Tales Of… series have achieved a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes, it makes good sense for Disney to consider expanding their popular animated anthology series further.
What possibilities might the creative team at Lucasfilm consider when planning another installment in the “Tales Of…” franchise?
To date, the show has delved into tales about the Jedi, the Empire, and the Underworld. It’s possible that future episodes might revisit these themes, exploring additional characters who fit within these three categories.
In addition, it’s probable that enthusiasts would be intrigued by further expansions into various offshoots of the continually evolving Star Wars universe.
One concept frequently discussed among Star Wars enthusiasts involves exploring the Rebellion, delving into some of the less popular tales of defiance during the era of Imperial rule.
In light of “Andor” Season 2 coming to an end, it might be advantageous to explore further narratives within the Rebel universe, particularly under the “Tales Of…” banner. Given that “Andor” was a two-season saga delving deeply into the covert operations shaping the Rebel Alliance’s triumph, expanding on this theme could yield intriguing results.
An alternative direction the series might venture into is delving deeper into the sinister aspects of the Force through a new series titled “Tales of the Sith“.
