“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” has dropped the first teaser for its upcoming third season.
Initially glancing at the Paramount+ series displayed here offers a sneak peek into ten fresh voyages on the USS Enterprise during the time of Capt. Christopher Pike, featuring a murder mystery and Paul Wesley reprising his role as James T. Kirk. The upcoming season will also address the suspense left in the Season 2 finale, where the Enterprise crew were engaged in a fierce struggle with the Gorn, leaving Captain Batel’s (Melanie Scrofano) survival uncertain.
Previously mentioned, the fourth season of “Strange New Worlds” has indeed been confirmed and is now being filmed in Toronto. Unfortunately, there’s no specific release date yet for Season 3, but it’s scheduled to air this coming summer.
As a film enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the talented cast is back for another round! Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn are all set to grace our screens again. Joining them as special guests this season are Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt, Cillian O’Sullivan, Scrofano, Carol Kane, and the remarkable Wesley!
Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers take on the roles of co-showrunners and executive producers, with Weed Road Pictures and HMRX respectively. Additionally, Alex Kurtzman, Aaron Baiers, Dana Horgan, Davy Perez, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Chris Fisher, Rod Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers. The production of the series is handled by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment.
In addition to “Strange New Worlds,” the lineup of “Star Trek” shows on Paramount+ also features “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy,” a series that’s already received a second season renewal.
