Star Trek and SpongeBob Collide in Hilarious Crossover You Can’t Miss!

Paramount+’s latest promotion offers an unexpected blend – a crossover between “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” and “SpongeBob SquarePants”. In the newly released commercial, the cast of “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” embarks on an unconventional journey through the cosmos aboard the “Patrick Starship Enterprise”. This advertisement is part of Paramount+’s new campaign entitled “Discover Your Peak on Paramount+”.

The video was simultaneously shared by Paramount+, Nickelodeon, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Star Trek’s official accounts, accompanied by the following caption: “The Enterprise has gone a bit goofy! From Spock to SpongeBob – enjoy the fun on #ParamountPlus.

“Krabby Patty Engage!”

The video starts by showing Spock (Ethan Peck) standing beside Sandy Cheeks from SpongeBob. Impressed, Sandy comments, “Wow…look at that,” and Spock inquires, “How are you doing, Commander Cheeks?” To which Sandy responds cheerfully, “Everything’s just fine!

Captain Christopher Pike, portrayed by Anson Mount, is next depicted bringing a vintage phone to his ear and announcing, “Let’s begin the sea-related antics!” Then, an advertisement transitions to a starship shaped like Patrick Star, accompanied by a voiceover saying, “Its purpose…ambiguous,” followed by Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding) flipping a Krabby Patty replica from The Krusty Krab while she exclaims, “Activate the Krabby Patty!

“Sound the Foghorns”

In a casual and understandable manner: “Pike exclaims his famous phrase as he snatches the Krabby Patty with just his hand. Then, we switch to Mr. Krabs at the helm of the Enterprise, pressing different buttons while saying, “Aye, Captain!” Following this, the ‘Patrick Starship Enterprise’ seems to accelerate rapidly.

In simpler terms, “The voiceover carries on, with Mr. Krabs seeming alarmed, exclaiming, ‘Oh my pearl! There’s a fire on the ship!’ Uhura, guiding the Enterprise with an old-fashioned steering wheel, calls for the foghorns to be sounded. Captain Pike queries about SpongeBob’s whereabouts. Spock replies, ‘Captain, he’s here,’ as SpongeBob arrives on the Enterprise, ready and eager. Spock then offers a Vulcan greeting to SpongeBob, saying, ‘Hello, SpongeRobert.’

Uhura expresses that her dream was unusual, suggesting it didn’t occur in reality. To this, Spock proposes, “It might have been your imagination…” He then makes a SpongeBob reference by drawing a rainbow with his hands. The post on Instagram has garnered over 17K likes, including one from Star Trek veteran Wil Wheaton, who added a comment, “I need five seasons and a movie.
