As a movie critic with a penchant for international cinema and a soft spot for underdog stories, I am positively ecstatic about the upcoming seasons of “Squid Game.” Having grown up watching Korean dramas that often struggled to find global recognition, it’s heartening to see a series like this break barriers and capture the world’s imagination.

The eagerly awaited second season of “Squid Game” on Netflix now has an official release date, while it was additionally confirmed that this popular South Korean series will continue for a thrilling third and concluding installment.

In addition to Kim Ji-yeon, Hwang is also the executive producer of “Squid Game”. The production company responsible for this Netflix series is Firstman Studio.
