As a long-time fan of Square Enix and their iconic games, I can hardly contain my excitement for Tokyo Game Show 2024! With the company’s commitment to both in-person and online events, I’ll be able to immerse myself in the world of gaming no matter where I am.
The Tokyo Game Show 2024 is approaching within a few weeks, and just like past years, Square Enix has confirmed their participation. They’ve established a dedicated webpage for this year’s event and are consistently keeping it updated as the show gets closer.
Square Enix plans to host events at Makuhari Messe in person as well as online for those unable to attend in person. This year’s event will primarily highlight the anticipated title, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, which is widely regarded as one of the most eagerly awaited games in Japan due to its remake of the nation’s most beloved game across all generations. Visitors at the venue can expect playable demo builds, while the company also prepares three separate streams of the game for both Japanese and international audiences.
As a gamer, I’m excited to share that Square Enix won’t just be spotlighting Dragon Quest III during their event. They’ve got playable demos lined up for Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven and Hironobu Sakaguchi’s Fantasian: Neo Dimension as well! They’ve got even more games on their schedule for the stream and in their trailer reel, so be sure to check out the full lists down below.
