To some people’s surprise, this wasn’t necessarily a negative thing. In fact, “Please Put Them On, Takamine-san” might even be considered superior to its peers due to its unwavering dedication to the raw sexuality at the heart of its premise. As an adult-oriented anime with more leeway to delve into and challenge societal norms, it definitely stands out.
