Connect Fiction & Entertainment, a prominent international television and entertainment co-production market in Europe, is set to host its ninth event from June 16-19, in Cuenca, Castilla-La Mancha. This year’s event will highlight France and Canada, significant contributors to global content production. Simultaneously, the ECAM Forum – an international co-production market led by ECAM, a renowned film school based in Madrid – is set to hold its second event from June 10th to 13th at Matadero in Madrid. This forum emphasizes on boosting up-and-coming talent in visual storytelling, and by partnering with Conecta, it aims to strengthen its series section.

In unison, these two occasions will host a joint group of esteemed French business leaders hailing from networks, distributors, and production companies, all boasting significant international reputations. This partnership is backed by the Institut Français d’Espagne, highlighting its commitment to fostering cultural exchange between France and Spain.

Alba Wystraëte, head of ECAM, underscored the significance of the fresh partnership, stating, “Fostering collaborations like this and harnessing their synergies has been a key objective since our inception.
